To indent a block of lines using tab characters: select the lines to indent, right click and select "Indent | Increase indent (use tabs)".
To indent the selected block of lines 5 times: select "Repeat Indent" from the drop-down menu (or the "Indent" right click menu), enter 5 and click the "OK" button.
To decrease the indent 3 times: select "Repeat Indent," enter -3 and click the "OK" button.
HTML-Kit Build 292 has built-in support for indenting using space characters. The "Edit | Increase Indent" / "Edit | Decrease Indent" main menu options or Tab / Shift+Tab keys can be used to indent/unindent the selected block of lines. This plugin adds options for multiplying indents and indenting using tabs or spaces.

Download the "hkBlockIndent" plugin and save it to a folder of your choice (for example, c:\webfiles\). It's not necessary to manually extract the *.zip file, HTML-Kit will expand it to the proper folder during the installation.
Select "Install | Install Plugin" from HTML-Kit's "Tools" menu. Point to the downloaded *.zip file and click "Open."
If any additional prompts appear, follow them to complete the installation.
