To view the DOM of the current document: invoke the plugin. If a DOM tool is not specified, use the preferences dialog to select the external DOM tool.
To specify a custom DOM tool: open the plugin preferences dialog using the plugin drop-down menu. Select the application file (*.exe) for the DOM tool. Enter any custom command line options. Close the preferences dialog and invoke the DOM tool.
Requires a DOM tool (external application), such as Mozilla DOM Inspector which is part of the Mozilla browser. If Mozilla is not already installed, the Mozilla browser or other separate DOM tool must be installed before this helper plugin can be used to invoke it.

Download the "hkDOMToolHelper" plugin and save it to a folder of your choice (for example, c:\webfiles\). It's not necessary to manually extract the *.zip file, HTML-Kit will expand it to the proper folder during the installation.
Select "Install | Install Plugin" from HTML-Kit's "Tools" menu. Point to the downloaded *.zip file and click "Open."
If any additional prompts appear, follow them to complete the installation.
