Features:

• Replace inside the selected text using Perl-compatible regular expressions.
   
• Both find and replace expressions/text can have multiple lines.
   
• Option for ignoring the case of the find text.
   
• Function for converting plain text to regular expression text (escaped text).

Usage:

• To replace text: select a block of text (from where to start looking down to where to stop looking), and invoke the plugin. Enter find and replace expressions. Click "Replace" to update the selected text.
   
• To re-use matched sub-strings/groups in the replace text: enter $ followed by the number of the sub-string to use ($1 = 1st sub-string, $2 = 2nd sub-string, etc), in the replace field.
   
• To paste find/replace text: the Ctr+V keyboard shortcut can be used to paste copied text.
   
• To convert plain text to regular expression text (escaped text): enter or paste (Ctrl+V) the plain text in the find field and click "Escape find string".
