Makes available several options related to selecting text on the Right Click Menu and on the Actions Bar.

Features:

  • Makes it possible to access several options related to selecting text using the Right Click Menu and the Actions Bar (some of these options are available on the "Edit | Select" main menu by default).
     
  • Options for selecting the character, word or line at the cursor.
     
  • Select the current tag, or select towards the start/end of the current tag.
     
  • Ability to select up to the matching tag, or the content in between the tags.
     
  • Quickly select the content inside <script> and <style> tags.
     
  • Options for selecting HTML strings (inside tags) and HTML entities.
     
  • Clicking the plugin icon selects the word at the cursor.

How do I install hkSelectText?

  • Download the "hkSelectText" plugin and save it to a folder of your choice (for example, c:\webfiles\). It's not necessary to manually extract the *.zip file, HTML-Kit will expand it to the proper folder during the installation.
     
  • Install Plugin
    Select "Install | Install Plugin" from HTML-Kit's "Tools" menu. Point to the downloaded *.zip file and click "Open."
     
  • If any additional prompts appear, follow them to complete the installation.
