What's the Image Embellisher?

Image Embellisher is an online tool that can apply special effects to images.

What are the benefits?

  • Special effects: the visual effects can make your web pages look more interesting.

  • Image protection: another use is protecting original images. If you have images that you would like to show on the Web, but don't want to make available for downloading, you could use the Image Embellisher to reshape a copy of the original image. Your web site visitors will be able to get an idea of what the image looks like, but you won't have to post the original image on the Web. Web sites that sell art work, post cards and other original content can use this technique to freely show a version of the image on the Web and only make the original image available to the customers and the registered visitors.

  • Ease of use: because Image Embellisher is an online tool that can be accessed using a web browser, you don't have to install any special software on your computer. Also, you can use it on Windows, Mac, Linux and other systems.

  • It's free!: a link to this free site is appreciated if you find it useful, but it's not required.

How do I use the Image Embellisher?

First, pick the image effect you'd like to see. Select an image using the "Browse" button. Optionally, change the size of the output image. Finally, click the "Send" button.

You'll see a smaller version of the output image generated by the Image Embellisher. If it looks good, you can download the full size image to your computer.

Do I need HTML-Kit to use this tool?

Not at all, HTML-Kit is not required.

It's hosted on the HTML-Kit site because the first version was written for HTML-Kit users, but now it's open to everyone.
